Well, my first day of ceramics today. As I had expected, my fingernails were a problem, so this evening, they were all chopped short.
Wheel pottery is quite tiring, and in winter, spending all day with wet hands gets a bit tired.
Time for a glass of benedictine and a nice warm shower

NO! Oh gods! How can that happen to a person?

The day started with waking up at around 5am feeling ill, but I managed to get back to sleep.
The day progressed to college, where I got to stare at wall-sized slide projections of my own asymmetrical face, along with the rest of the class, since I got used as a model for a bunch of lighting exercises.
Depressing.
I’m not happy with most of the shots I took on my previous roll of film, so I’ve bought another two 36 shot rolls, and I’m going to try a reshoot.
I also found out that the lightmeter on the last camera I used was fucked, and the camera I’ve got now has a viewfinder full of fungus - and no split circle focussing system.
So, I’m not hopeful about the outcome.
So after wasting all this time on reviewing the lighting exercise, we finally get into the darkroom - and I struggle for the whole day, to get one stinking image - and I’m not happy with the geometry.
Oh, and I haven’t shaved in a week, and I’m kindof thinking I’ll try to get some beardage happening.

This is done by projecting a negative down through the enlarger onto photo paper as per usual, then placing objects onto the paper to mask it, and prevent any exposure.
